Update — September 1, 2026
A large release, rolling out now. What changed:
- Google Antigravity is a fully supported agent, alongside Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and VS Code. It has no public token or cost API, so its stats card shows session activity — sessions, last active, current state — instead of numbers.
- Claude rate limits, straight from the server. Labelled bars in two groups — Session with its own reset countdown, and Weekly with one shared countdown over an All models bar plus each individually reported model. Bar colour is the severity the server reports, and a refresh button fetches the latest figures on demand.
- Smart caffeinate. The Mac stays awake automatically while any agent runs and sleeps normally once they stop; a manual switch does the same on demand. One native macOS power assertion, never a caffeinate subprocess. Only system sleep is prevented — the display may still sleep, and closing the lid always sleeps the Mac.
- Make the light yours. Classic and Minimal light styles with a live preview, per-state colours from a curated ten-hue palette — no two states can share a colour, keeping the lights readable with red-green colour blindness — a VoiceOver announcement for the indicator's state, and a toggle for whether red shows when no agents are running.
- The light appears on change. The island pulls itself into view when an agent changes state, holds for about seven seconds, and collapses; heartbeats deliberately don't re-open it, and hovering holds it open.
- Click a chat row and the app that owns it comes to the front — terminal, IDE, or a resumable Claude session.
- Onboarding asks two questions on first run — light style and Mac-awake behaviour — and launch at login surfaces the macOS approval step instead of failing silently.
- Reliability: concurrent hook writes can no longer silently overwrite a yellow "needs you" with a green "running" — 11 of 200 parallel rounds lost the urgent state before the fix, 0 of 200 after; torn reads went from 14 in 4,825 to 0 in 9,059.
v1.0.0 — July 9, 2026
First stable release. Shipped with:
- Agent status traffic light in the notch for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and VS Code — green while working, yellow when awaiting input, red when stopped, detected through each tool's hook system.
- LLM quota and token spend per provider: 5-hour and weekly windows, tokens and cost.
- Recent agent chats across all supported tools in one list, each with its live state.
- Pomodoro focus timer — Focus 25, Break 5, Deep Work 45 — with a colour-draining ring.
- Music controls, file shelf with AirDrop, LocalSend and Quick Share, and weather.
- Custom accent colour, notch tint and user-supplied notch skins.
- Runs as a floating Dynamic Island-style pill on Macs without a notch and on external displays.
- Signed and notarized by Apple. Free, open source, GPL-3.0.
